Spain
For many, Spanish wine is all about Rioja and we list a wide range. We certainly feature the unique, traditional white Rioja of Marques de Murrieta. Red - wise, Rioja Lanzado Joven emphasises fruit over oak, whilst the Rioja Vega and Viña Pomal are Crianza Riojas, i.e. both wines spending at least a year in wood. Much of our interest, however, lies in the lesser known areas and grapes.
Aragon provides us with the modern Nuviana varietals; international grapes with a modern Spanish twist. We also have the truly wonderful Legaris from Ribera del Duero, another region producing some brilliant bottles. Well worth a try! New to the range, the Dance del Mar and Solar de Urbezo are from an award-winning winery located in Carinena, a small vineyard area to the east of Rioja that is producing some amazing wines.
